The BPR online course – background and key objectives
The BPR online course is a collaboration between Edlegio and Cordial.
During this program you will learn to understand the concept of a business process as a key source of performance improvement in your organization. We will be looking at step-change, i.e. radical process redesign seeking dramatic and measurable performance leaps, as opposed to tinkering and tweaking for day-to-day improvement.
The program is divided into fours sessions, first an introduction to the BPR concept, then a practical guide to the three key stages of a BPR initiative: Mobilization (where we establish a process map and decide where to focus), Diagnosis (where we describe/measure the current state and set dramatic improvement objectives) and Innovation (where we use best-practice templates to stimulate our thinking about possible and radical redesigns of the process to achieve those dramatic objectives).
